About

Greetings to the reader who tumbles upon this page,

BotanI am known as Naru and if there’s anything that should be known about me, it should be my horrible taste for naming things, let it be nicknames for my Pokemon, fanfiction titles, or even the name of my own blog/website.

While “What is this “Culture” you speak of?” can be explained for various and logical reasons, “Oromywhat” was a title that simply popped up from the other choices I had in mind. I still find it weird that I’ve decided on this name since, as much as I like Ruroni Kenshin, I don’t love it as much as Yu Yu Hakusho or Full Metal Alchemist, both two anime I consider as my all-time favorites.

Writing has never been a talent of mine, nor do I plan to inspire people with my words since I believe I am too easy-going and bizarre to do so, but I write this blog in order to express my feelings on a certain anime/manga or explain facts regarding the anime/manga community that some have yet to learn.

I also hope this blog will somehow be useful to you, let it be to have a good laugh or learn something new.

  1. Hi, Nafi! I’m doing interviews of anime bloggers of different faiths and I was wondering if I could interview you. Please let me know what you think!

By the way, I love the new theme.

  2. Hey Naru, my name is kevo from Desu ex Machina (http://kevo.dasaku.net ). Justin from Organization of Anti-Social Geniuses recommended you as a good candidate to join the Anime Power Rankings. The Anime Power Rankings is exclusive to anime bloggers. It is a weekly survey of airing shows people are watching this season, and people’s preference for them. The result will be a weekly ranking of airing anime, selected by a survey of writers and other figures in the anime community.

For an example of our results, see here: http://kevo.dasaku.net/?p=3208

For more information, see here: http://kevo.dasaku.net/?page_id=2417

We’re quite interested in your insight, and we hope you are interested in joining us! Participation is fairly non-committal. You do not have to vote every week or leave any comments if you do not wish to. If you would like to participate, please send me an email at animepowerrankings at google’s email service dot com.

  3. You have such a fun style of writing and it is always awesome to find others with similar interests (video games and FMA ~ c’mon, can’t go wrong there)! I look forward to reading more from you ^^

  6. So I decided to click on your name and got introduced to a funhouse ruled by a lady. I like funhouses ruled by ladies very much. I dunno, I’ve always been intrigued by the mind of a female animeniac.

I also like your introduction. It shows everyone that you are unpredictable and entertaining when you write. Color me intrigued on finding out what more you have in store.

    • You’ve come to the right place! Sadly, it’s been an empty funhouse due to a busy year, but I’ll try to make it as fun as it’s supposed to be.

      And welcome :D

      • No worries ma belle peche. I can understand. After all, college, or maybe work, can be quite a hassle on everyone’s precious fun times.

I am honored to be welcome by such a belle femme francaise.
