durarara | What is this "Culture" you speak of?

Anime crushes I can understand (I have my own share of them) but an anime husband/wife, not really. Claiming an anime character as their own is something I’ve seen throughout the years and it never ceases to amaze me; As long as it’s meant as a joke, I won’t mind. I’m saying this because I’ve seen many horrible things in the internet. Horrible things. Rapid fangirls scare me…

I sometimes joke about how I would love to have Ichigo Kurosaki from Bleach as a husband with my close friends or on forums- keeping it at that degree is okay for me.

But between Ichigo and many other choices:

My preference out of them all, as an anime husband would be Sakata Gintoki, especially when he plays Ginpachi-sensei (His teacher version). The guy can be a great role-model when he wants to, and he knows how to cook. But he’s known to be a very lazy person…

If I liked girls, my anime wife would be without a doubt Yoruichi Shihoin from Bleach.

When I read the challenge for today, I immediately face palmed. The most epic scene ever huh? There are so many things in anime that are epic to choose from, so ‘ever’? Unless I’ve watched a very limited number of anime in my life, this challenge would have been so easy to answer.

Evangelion-01’s existence is epic enough.

As an epic scene I wanted to add one from the movie Akira, but I can’t find any on YouTube, soooo… I’ve added two epic (and very short for your comfort) scenes from recent anime: Durarara!! and Kuroshitsuji II(also known as Black Butler II) to fill in today’s challenge.

They aren’t “OMG-WHAT THE HECK” epic, but epic as in “Uh.Wow.” epic. I do hope you understand that last sentence. Oh, and for the Kuroshitsuji II scene, I’ve obviously cheated :3
